happy 5 months liam!

liam turned 5 months on the 17th.  a few days after, he said his first word, dada! then a few days after that, he rolled from his stomach to his back, to his stomach then his back again!  he is REALLY looking forward to eating food; he intently studies our mouths when we eat!  my little boy is getting so big! 

Lagoon!

$30 is a ridiculous amount of money to pay for a 2 year old to go to an amusement park (thanks alot Lagoon)!   but seeing how much matti loved going on all the rides, it was worth every penny! i honestly did not think she would like going on rides; she is often tentative about new things. she surprised me, as she often does, and she jumped right into it! (having her cousin kiffyn along with her helped too!) it's such a great feeling watching your daughter just really enjoying the experience- it makes me so happy!  liam was amazing; he's such a happy kid!  he's a social kid, wants to be around people, so he liked all the excitement. but he calmed down easily and took a nice long nap too.  my favorite ride was wicked; instead of slowly pushing you up the hill then dropping you, it shoots you up, then drops you down so fast your head is spinning!  so fun! thanks grandma and grandpa for a fun day!

Brooke and Matt get married

brooke and matt got married!  it was such an amazing ceremony,

especially when they brought kiffyn in to be sealed to them!

there was not a dry eye in the room; it was beautiful!

hold him and play with him, and entertain him,

which gives me a chance to get a few things done!

golfer in training

tom would love to be an avid golfer but he's way too busy these days!

maybe by the time liam is old enough to hold a golf club, life will be less

complicated!

the zoo

the giraffes are so fun to see at this zoo; their habitat

makes it so easy to see them and enjoy

yeah, he didn't really care about the animals this time,

but next time he'll love it!

ask matti what animals she saw at the zoo and she'll tell you the

elephants first.  then she'll tell you that we saw them pee and poop!

it was seriously disgusting, and made quite an impression on her!

Easter

shortly after liam was born, matti decided she was 

going to be a complete and total daddy's girl! she

loves him so much! she wants him to do everything

with her!  i might be offended, but one less poopy

diaper to change is ok by me!
