mannequin buddies

We were shopping for clothes for our family pictures and i turned around and matti was holding hands with the mannequin...everyone who walked by was laughing out loud.  Then she wanted to sit on the lap of the mannequin... she said it looked like daddy.  not sure what that means since the mannequin had no head...

a day at the zoo

the hogle zoo had a free admission day so my cousin lindsay and i took our kids.  it was about 30 degrees out, so we were pretty bundled up, but it was sunny so it warmed up a bit as the day went on

i was watching kiffyn that day and i took my friend's little boy landon as well so it was a little crazy at times, but overall a lot of fun!

Happy Birthday my little man!

 Liam's birthday was actually on the 17th of February, so I am way late in posting this!  It was on a Sunday this year, so here is Tom and Liam on our way to church (that's church at 8:30 am folks...that has taken some getting used to!)

about a week before his birthday, he started throwing fits when he doesn't get what he wants- he picked that up from watching Matti.  oh the fun of older siblings!  he's got such a cute face, even when he's mad, so it's hard not to just give in--- oh, except for the fact that the screeching and whining is super annoying! he claps for himself when he does something good; he says "yeah" when you ask him stuff; when he's walking around he swings his arms; he loves his blankie and pulls it around the house by a corner; when he goes to sleep he holds the corner of his blankie in his fingers and rubs it, just like matti did; when he goes to throw the ball he holds it up over his head and drops it over the back; he likes to steal matti's teddy and give her loves(matti is not a fan of this).  he is such a sweet, loving, cuddly boy and we love him so much!  happy birthday bubba!
